Role Snapshot
Senior Manager of Payroll at Coursera to lead global payroll strategy, ensuring compliance and accuracy while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role provides strategic oversight of payroll operations across the Americas with expansion potential to other regions.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada, manage compliance with payroll laws, and optimize payroll processes. Lead the payroll team and serve as the Payroll Subject Matter Expert, providing governance of global payroll policies, processes, and controls.
Skills & Tools: Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, proficiency in payroll software (Workday and ADP), excellent analytical and communication skills. Expertise in global payroll management with deep understanding of Americas payroll requirements.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of payroll management experience in a global context. Preferred credentials include management certification and CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.

Compensation: $141K–$173K/yr
