Role Snapshot
The Assistant Director of Higher Education and Benefits oversees key benefit programs supporting family child care providers in California, providing strategic leadership and team management to ensure program accessibility and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead planning and execution of benefit programs, manage a team of four staff members, engage with stakeholders for program improvements, and monitor program budgets and effectiveness.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years of program leadership experience, ability to work with diverse communities, excellent communication and analytical skills, and understanding of social justice issues.
Qualifications: 5+ years in program leadership with preferred advanced education or relevant experience; internal candidates only who have been employed for at least one year and are in good standing.
Location: Los Angeles, California
Compensation: $85K–$90K/yr
