Role Snapshot
Virtual Webmaster Intern at Finalsite responsible for maintaining and updating client websites for K-12 schools. This remote role provides hands-on experience to enhance webmaster skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update client websites, optimize content for clarity and accessibility, migrate website content, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate with clients through emails and virtual meetings. Participate in training, team meetings, and contribute ideas for website improvements.
Skills & Tools: Basic web design principles, familiarity with content management systems, knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO best practices, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and work effectively in a remote environment.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design/Development, or related field with understanding of web design and user experience best practices. Portfolio or examples of previous web projects preferred; experience with educational institutions is a plus.
Location: United States
Compensation: $18/hr
