Summary

The ERP Developer manages and optimizes the Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline) ERP system, serving as a technical expert for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support while leading implementation and enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities: Provide second-tier technical support and troubleshooting for ERP issues, plan and execute system testing and quality assurance, monitor system performance and implement optimizations, create training materials and deliver user training, and coordinate change requests and ERP project implementations.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in SQL, Low-Code/No-Code development, and C#; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills; experience with Agile Scrum project management methodologies and deep understanding of business processes.
Qualifications: 4+ years of experience managing ERP systems with demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Low-Code/No-Code; 2+ years of experience with Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (CSI), preferably Syteline v. 8, 9, or 10.

The ERP Systems Developer will be responsible for managing the organization’s Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline) ERP System including system maintenance and optimization, diagnosing, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving issues, designing efficient and effective processes and implementing and testing new modules.

The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that are not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role. 

  • Technical Support and Escalation:
  • Serve as the second-tier escalation point for IT support tickets related to Infor Syteline, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex ERP system issues, working closely with end-users and technical teams.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and knowledge base articles to improve future support efficiency.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Plan, execute, and document comprehensive testing of new ERP developments, customizations, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with end-users to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that solutions meet project goals and business requirements.
  • Identify and report defects, track resolution progress, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • System Maintenance and Optimization:
  • Monitor ERP system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of system enhancements, configurations, and customizations.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, including configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • User Training and Support:
  • Create and deliver training materials and interactive workshops to train users on ERP system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing questions and resolving issues.
  • Promote user adoption and proficiency in utilizing the ERP system.
  • Project Participation:
  • Provide subject matter expertise for ERP optimization planning including taking a lead role in implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external project teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Change Request Coordination:
  • Monitor and triage change requests related to the ERP system.
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate the necessity, feasibility, and impact of proposed changes, considering both technical and process implications.
  • Develop initial scope and business cases for technical changes, outlining requirements, benefits, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs.

 Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience managing ERP systems, demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Low-Code/No-Code, C# experience helpful
  • 2+ years of experience working within Infor Cloud Sweet Industrial (CSI), preferably Syteline v. 8, 9, 10
  • Strong understanding of business processes and ERP system functionality
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Experience with project management methodologies preferably Agile Scrum
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
