Role Snapshot
The Audio-Visual Project Engineer manages the complete lifecycle of AV projects from client engagement through implementation, combining technical expertise with project management and sales engineering skills to design and deliver AV systems that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct client needs analyses, provide technical consultation, prepare proposals, design AV systems with detailed specifications and Bills of Materials, manage project timelines and budgets, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and to customer satisfaction.
Skills & Tools: Excellent organizational and time management abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and expertise in AV technology and system design.
Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, capability to handle difficult situations professionally, and knowledge of AV technologies and industry trends.
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Compensation: $70K–$100K/yr
