Role Snapshot
The Technical Project Manager oversees the complete lifecycle of audio-visual solutions from client engagement through project delivery, combining technical expertise with project management to design and implement AV systems that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage project progress, timelines, and budgets using project management software while coordinating with internal teams and external partners; conduct site surveys, design AV systems, prepare detailed scopes of work and bills of materials, and ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in AV system design and integration with familiarity in AV design software (AutoCAD, D-tools) and control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp); exceptional organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle escalating situations professionally.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred with PMP and CTS certifications; 3-5 years of AV project management experience with strong technical knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
Location: Orlando, Florida
Compensation: $75K–$105K/yr
