Role Snapshot
Join Grammarly's Data Platform team as a Senior Software Engineer to architect and implement large-scale data systems handling 60-70 billion daily events. This role shapes the technical strategy and roadmap for the data platform while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in large-scale distributed computing, SQL, Spark, and Kafka with strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns and data governance. Strong system reliability and data modeling expertise with ability to design for real-time and batch processing at scale.
Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of data engineering experience with proven track record managing live production environments. Proficiency in data modeling, system reliability, and experience building complex software systems.
Location: New York City, New York
Compensation: $225K–$275K/yr
