Role Snapshot
The Director of Academic Advising for Student Athletes leads Fordham University's Office of Student-Athletic Advising, ensuring NCAA student-athletes achieve academic success and degree completion while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of student-athlete advising, develop support strategies, implement the Fordham Hub (Salesforce platform) for wraparound support, and collaborate with academic departments to ensure student progress and NCAA compliance.
Skills & Tools: Experience in academic support for student-athletes, knowledge of NCAA regulations and requirements, strong communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Higher Education or related field, minimum 5 years of experience in an NCAA environment, and at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Location: New York City, New York
Compensation: $110K–$126K/yr
