Role Snapshot
AI Prompt Engineer at Elsevier responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for AI models to enhance product functionality and user experience. The role focuses on leveraging AI capabilities to improve content delivery and search solutions across Elsevier's platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and refine prompts for large language models and AI systems, conduct testing and evaluation of prompt effectiveness, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate optimized prompts into production environments.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of AI/LLM capabilities and limitations, excellent written communication for crafting effective prompts, and proficiency in prompt engineering techniques with experience in evaluating model outputs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, linguistics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience with demonstrated expertise in AI systems; prior experience with prompt engineering or working with language models preferred.
Location: 4 Locations
Compensation: $85K–$130K/yr (estimated)
