Role Snapshot

Join American Student Assistance as a Software Engineer to develop and maintain web applications that empower students in their career journeys. You'll build scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions across the full technology stack.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, Node.js, and modern frameworks while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers. Contribute to database design, cloud solutions, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot application performance issues.
Skills & Tools: Strong full-stack development experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, SQL, and NoSQL databases, plus hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services. Proficiency in agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, debugging, and excellent collaborative communication skills.
Qualifications: 3–5 years of professional full-stack software development experience with demonstrated expertise in modern frontend and backend frameworks. Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, cloud services, and automated testing practices.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $80K–$120K/yr
