Role Snapshot
Join CommonLit as a Platform Engineer to enhance infrastructure, tooling, and security for an online reading program serving over 90,000 American schools. You'll amplify the engineering team's impact through long-term infrastructure improvements and responsive work supporting application engineers.
Skills & Tools: Strong experience with AWS services, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and excellent problem-solving and communication abilities are essential. Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices is valuable.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with production applications in AWS infrastructure and a software development background, particularly in Ruby on Rails. Background check and ongoing US residency verification required.
Location: United States
Compensation: $95K–$150K/yr
