Our History

StraighterLine was founded by Burck Smith in 2008 to provide a high-quality, low-cost alternative to the rising cost of college and to help save students a significant amount of money on the cost of their degree. Today 2,000+ colleges and universities have accepted StraighterLine courses for credit.
