Summary
Business Analyst for StraighterLine's Early Childhood Education division responsible for managing systems and software initiatives while serving as the primary liaison between external government clients and internal teams. The role ensures successful translation of client needs into actionable requirements within an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities: Gather and translate client requirements into system specifications, manage product backlogs for a Scrum team, and facilitate continuous improvement processes. Serve as primary contact for government stakeholders, conduct requirement-gathering sessions, support QA/UAT, and communicate delivery status and tradeoffs.
Skills & Tools: 4–7 years of business analysis experience with strong documentation skills, proficiency in Agile methodologies, and excellent stakeholder communication and analytical abilities. Must demonstrate the ability to balance client expectations with technical feasibility and independently resolve routine issues.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; experience with government projects and Agile certifications (e.g., CBAP, CSM) are preferred.
