Proficiency in interpreting complex technical and business requirements, technology research, and cross-functional collaboration with IT leadership and functional teams.
Qualifications: Experienced application development professional with demonstrated expertise in PeopleSoft Student Information Systems and a track record of managing complex enterprise projects. Typically requires bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, plus 5+ years of relevant application development and project management experience.
Compensation: $85K–$120K/yr (estimated)
Job Description
As a Senior Analyst/Project Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing NC State University’s complex PeopleSoft Student Information System. You will lead and contribute to enterprise application development projects, translating complex business and technical requirements into effective solutions that support critical student services across Admissions, Student Records, Advisement, Student Financials, and Financial Aid.
- Serving as a senior member of a team of analysts and/or programmers to maintain our Student Information System (SIS) within a technically complex environment.
- Working with the IT Director and Managers, Team Members, and Functional Offices in order to design, build, and implement moderate to advanced enterprise application development projects at NC State University with minimal supervision.
- Interpreting highly complex business processes and technological functions to develop specifications and provide input to management and customers on the appropriate resource and technology for automated solutions.
- Designing and executing regression testing, performance testing and quality assurance testing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Serving as a project manager/analyst on the Student Information System Applications Development Team across all modules including Student Admissions, Student Records, Advisement, Student Financials, and Financial Aid.
- Researching and keeping abreast of new technologies to evaluate feasibility for organizational needs.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the PeopleSoft Student Information System.
