Position Summary
Your role, as a senior instructional designer, will be to transform learning experiences through the learning assets and activities you develop. You will drive training projects from initiation up to closure/sign-off. To be successful in this role, you would need to manage several concurrent activities, with strong multi-tasking, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills. One of the key highlights of this role is to be able to successfully align with all stakeholders, i.e., both internal and external.

Needs Analysis and Strategy Development:
Content Design and Development:
Design games, gamified learning, simulation-based, micro-learning, and mobile first learning materials.
Technology Integration:
Lead the integration of innovative learning technologies to enhance learning. experiences using Rapid Authoring Tools such as Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate, etc.
Evaluation and Assessment:
The ideal candidate would possess an optimum combination of the following competencies and qualifications.
Core Competencies
Application of Adult Learning Theory: Ability to apply principles of adult learning theory to design and develop effective learning solutions tailored to the needs of adult learners.
Blended Learning Asset Selection: Proficiency in selecting and integrating various learning assets, including digital media, interactive elements, print materials, and face-to-face activities, to create comprehensive blended learning experiences. Knowledge of how to combine different learning modalities to optimize learning outcomes and accommodate diverse learning preferences will be an added advantage.
Mastery of Instructional Design Theories and Models: Deep understanding and application of instructional design theories, models, and methodologies, such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
Skill in using these frameworks to guide the systematic design, development, and evaluation of instructional materials.
Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Experience collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content, validate learning objectives, and ensure accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in any domain is required with a minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in instructional designing, preferably for corporate / higher-education verticals.
