We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Partner Development Representative (PDR) to join our Partnerships team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying and initiating relationships with potential channel partners to expand our market reach. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for building strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect New Partnerships: Research and identify potential channel partners, leveraging tools like LinkedIn, industry events, and other resources to build a robust pipeline of leads.
- Outreach and Engagement: Initiate contact with prospective partners through emails, calls, and virtual meetings to introduce our value proposition and explore collaboration opportunities.
- Qualify Leads: Evaluate potential partners’ compatibility with our business objectives, assessing their market presence, customer base, and alignment with our goals.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and other members of the Partnership team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and support the sales process.
- Track and Report Metrics: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, partner engagements, and pipeline progress using Salesforce
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify and pursue high-potential partnerships.
- Partner Administration: Maintain accurate and complete stakeholder and contact information within Salesforce for all partners.
- Operations: Manage, automate, and track the lead registration process, as well as manage and monitor the lead pipeline for all active partners.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Prior experience in outbound business development required.
- Previous experience working with Channel/Partner accounts is preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience connecting with C-Suite stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and prospecting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (we use Salesforce) and proficiency in Office 365
- A proactive, goal-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
