About the role
Sales Development is a critical component of the sales organization at Learning Pool. As a true hunter, you will use a market leading tech stack to open new sales conversations and create sales opportunities for our Account Executives. The roles are early career sales positions with the opportunity to join a global organization. We have ambitious growth plans and invite you to grow with us.
We are looking for people who are positive and confident in communicating to potential customers about the value that our products can bring to their business. This communication could be via email, telephone, video, social platforms such as LinkedIn, or a combination of these methods. You will be resilient and comfortable talking to strangers, instigating sales conversations and building our sales pipeline. Commission is uncapped in this role so earning potential is truly based on results.
On target earnings for this position is $75,000 per annum (base salary plus commission).

What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Cadenced cold outreach to prospective customers across a variety of platforms (email, telephone, LinkedIn etc)
- Scheduling initial discovery/qualification calls with prospective customers
- Communicating with Account Executives for success (i.e. insights and intelligence about prospective customers) in a timely fashion
- Applying BANT qualification methodology to ensure prospects meet both our “Ideal Customer Profile” and minimum requirements for engagement with an Account Executive.
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to help inform Demand Generation
- Assisting Account Executives with pipeline management and prospect nurturing when appropriate/necessary
- Achieving performance metrics and quotas set by the business
Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience/Service orientation: You will have previous experience with customer facing work, this could include providing customer support through building relationships with external customers.
- Technically literate: You will be comfortable using technology tools to access, manage and communicate information.
- Communications: You will have exceptional communication, organizational and presentation skills - phone, email, and webinar
- Building relationships: You will have the ability to build relationships and communicate across all levels of a business
- Adaptability: You will have experience of working in a dynamic environment where you have been comfortable with change. You have a positive and agile mindset, asking "What can we do to make this happen?" rather than "I don't know how this would work?"
- Delivering with others: You will have a positive, professional and open-minded attitude towards colleagues, clients and ways of working
- Previous experience of working towards targets in a results oriented environment would be strongly advantageous

Working Environment:
This job operates in a professional home office environment. It is expected the employee has a separate dedicated working space within their home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and productivity tools such as computers, phones, email, instant messaging, Google collaborative tools, and project management platforms.

Physical Demands:
