Position Overview
Teaching Strategies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. This role focuses on building relationships and driving sales of our innovative early childhood education products and services to non-profit organizations that support early childhood development, and their families.. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen, a deep understanding of the non-profit sector, and a genuine passion for improving early education outcomes.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target non-profit organizations aligned with early childhood education, leveraging research and networking strategies.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in non-profits, including executive directors, program managers, and educational coordinators.
- Solution Selling: Present Teaching Strategies' products and services as tailored solutions to the unique needs and goals of non-profit clients.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach and needs assessment to proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Market Research and Insight: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the non-profit and early childhood education sectors to position our offerings effectively.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to align strategies and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets, tracking progress through the CRM system and providing regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the non-profit or education sectors.
- Strong knowledge of non-profit funding cycles, grant processes, and mission-driven organizational structures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft) and other sales tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
