Your Role
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Integration Specialist to join our amazing team at Otus.
As an Integration Specialist, you will work closely with clients, developers, and internal teams to ensure seamless data integration and rostering processes. Your role will involve setting up and maintaining integrations, identifying and resolving errors, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients and team members. This role will report to the VP of Client Success.
Responsibilities
Client Integration and Rostering
- Prepare for and attend client kickoff calls to discuss integration and rostering requirements.
- Set up and sync student and teacher accounts with clients' Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Manage and execute the rollover process to ensure accurate data transfer for the new school year.
Error Resolution and Support
- Identify, document, and resolve integration errors such as missing data or duplicate accounts.
- Share clear instructions with clients to address errors, ensuring successful issue resolution.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up after integrations are complete.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
- Work closely with Client Experience Partners (CXPs) to ensure smooth communication and alignment with client needs.
- Assist with integration-related questions and support calls for clients and internal teams.
Documentation and Process Improvement
- Maintain and update internal and client-facing documentation on integration processes and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of workflows and FAQs to improve efficiency and client experience.
Project and Ticket Management
- Manage integration tickets in Jira, ensuring timely prioritization and resolution.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.
Vendor Collaboration
- Coordinate with SIS vendors to address technical challenges and explore new integration opportunities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, effectively multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with the management of SIS platforms, data integration tools, and SaaS technologies.
- Experience with data transformation tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Javascript, and Typescript)
- Proficiency in using tools like Jira, Slack, and Confluence.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Experience in educational technology or a related field is a plus.
- A willingness and ability to “dive right in”, be effective, and make a difference.
