Summary

As the Executive Assistant supporting K12 Insight’s Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the highest levels of our organization. Your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional calendar support to top executives, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives while you efficiently handle the day-to-day complexities of their roles. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and highly organized, with a strong commitment to enhancing organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Own and oversee complex scheduling and calendar management for the executive leadership team, ensuring optimized time management, seamless coordination, and proactive resolution of conflicts.

- Act as a central point of coordination for the executive leadership team, facilitating clear communication on priorities, upcoming events, and critical issues through systematic updates and follow-ups.

- Handle external communication on behalf of executives, including scheduling meetings, liaising with key stakeholders, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

- Develop a deep understanding of leadership needs, proactively anticipating requirements and offering strategic support to enhance efficiency.

- Prepare and organize essential information ahead of meetings, keeping the leadership team informed of high-priority and time-sensitive matters.

- Leverage business acumen to independently manage tasks and provide cross-functional support on behalf of the leadership team.

- Proactively manage personal and household logistics to optimize executives’ time, including errands, travel arrangements, reservations, and household coordination.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree 

- 3+ years of work experience in a similar role and work environment 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail)

- An aptitude for learning new software and systems

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion - ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees

Location: This role is based at our Herndon, Virginia headquarters, with occasional flexibility for remote work. Candidates must live within a commutable driving distance to the office.

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 / year with the opportunity to earn additional compensation pursuant with K12 Insight’s corporate bonus plan. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position, and is subject to change. Exact pay will be based on factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and skills, market demands, internal parity and organizational needs.
