Role Snapshot
The AI Specialist, Revenue Operations builds and maintains AI agents, automations, and integrations that support TurnItIn's global revenue organization. This role is the first dedicated technical resource for an emerging AI orchestration platform that transforms how commercial teams operate.
Job Description
The AI Specialist, Revenue Operations is responsible for building and running the AI workloads that support the global revenue organization. Revenue Operations is establishing an AI orchestration platform alongside a set of AI agents and automations that change how commercial teams work, and this role is the first dedicated build resource within it.
The primary focus is twofold. The role develops automations and agent features against a defined specification, and it owns the operational work that keeps live AI systems healthy and measurably effective: evaluation, knowledge curation, monitoring and first-line diagnosis. Technical direction and platform architecture are set by the Senior Director, Revenue Enablement & AI Transformation.
This role also assists in establishing the working practices that Revenue Operations will follow. The standards this role helps set around documentation, evaluation and production readiness will determine how quickly our AI platforms can scale, and how much of the technical work can be safely devolved over time.
Core areas of impact include:
- Workload Development: Building AI agents, automations and integrations against a defined specification.
- Quality Evaluation: Establishing and running the evaluation that evidences AI agent performance.
- Knowledge Curation: Maintaining the knowledge bases and data that grounded AI agents depend on.
- Operational Support: Monitoring live AI workloads and owning first-line diagnosis of failures.
- Production Readiness: Supporting the movement of AI workloads through technical and security review into production.
Responsibilities:
- Workload Development: Builds automations and AI agent features against a written specification and within the platform's established patterns, including prompt development, retrieval and knowledge grounding.
- Quality Evaluation: Authors and runs evaluation test cases for AI workloads, extends coverage as those workloads change, and produces the reporting that evidences whether agent performance is improving.
- Knowledge Curation: Curates and maintains the knowledge bases, content and data that grounded AI agents depend on, and prepares and transforms data for agent consumption.
- Workload Operations: Monitors live AI workloads, owns first-line investigation of failures, resolves issues within scope, and escalates the remainder with a clear technical diagnosis.
- Integration Development: Builds and maintains integrations with Revenue Operations systems through APIs and workflow orchestration tooling, with due attention to authentication, error handling and access control.
- Production Readiness: Supports the movement of AI workloads into production by assembling technical documentation, completing security and access reviews, and preparing release and rollback notes.
- Technical Documentation: Maintains accurate documentation for all AI workloads, and documents reusable patterns so that each successive build is faster to deliver than the last.
- Platform Contribution: Contributes to the ongoing development of an AI orchestration platform under the technical direction of the Senior Director, Revenue Enablement & AI Transformation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Explains the behavior and limitations of AI workloads clearly to non-technical colleagues across Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement and the wider revenue organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Gathers feedback from users of live AI workloads and applies it to improve agent quality and reliability.
