Summary
Contract Software Engineer position at Teaching Lab, a nonprofit focused on K-12 educational technology, to develop infrastructure for AI-empowered classrooms and the Studio Classroom Project, a mastery-based learning approach for middle school math.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement technical infrastructure enabling cross-product integration across tools like Podsie, CoTeach, Mathly, and NISA; build shared services and data models supporting instructional alignment; develop AI-powered feedback systems and scalable infrastructure for the Studio Classroom Project expansion.
Skills & Tools: Minimum 3 years of software development experience with strong problem-solving skills; expertise in system design, scalability, and building accessible digital experiences; passion for educational technology.
Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience required; demonstrated experience in system design and scalability with commitment to inclusive and accessible design principles.
Location: Remote (fully remote, potential travel based on business needs)
Compensation: $60.00 β $80.00/hour
