Summary
Adventure Guide role supporting transformational outdoor learning experiences for students at Williamsburg Learning in South Salt Lake County, UT. Position focuses on facilitating leadership development, outdoor skill-building, and youth mentorship through structured adventures.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in facilitating transformational learning experiences, inspire and engage students during outdoor activities, support Adventures Leads in ensuring student safety, and represent the organization positively. Duties include leading discussions, taking attendance, administering first aid, and equipment care during 10 adventures per semester held on Fridays.
Skills & Tools: Outdoor and leadership experience, First Aid & CPR certification, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to effectively mentor youth. Comfort with 1:1 and group discussions, and willingness to participate in required training.
Qualifications: Minimum 18 years old with one year of post-high school experience required. Preferred experience in leadership and outdoor programs, particularly with middle and high school students.
Location: Hybrid in South Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; primarily Fridays with mileage reimbursement provided.
Compensation: $25.00/hour
