We're building the next chapter of AI-native craft and creativity - where craft and technology meet. Our unified platform bridges the gap between AI capabilities and human creativity, and lets professional creatives and designers harness the power of the world’s leading AI models without losing precision, expression, or soul. Together, we’re building tools that help people move faster without sacrificing quality, precision, or craft — a platform where AI supports creativity instead of flattening it..
We’re seeking a Community Marketer to cultivate and energise our artist community—the core of our mission. In this hands-on, people-first role, you’ll manage our daily presence on Discord, bringing our Collective, community programs, and creative partnerships to life through events, collaborations, and meaningful engagement. You’ll connect with artists, educators, and creators who use Figma Weave, ensuring they feel supported and inspired, while channeling their feedback into ideas that shape and strengthen the platform.
This is a full time role that can be held from our New York Hub
What you’ll do at Figma Weave:
- Community operations: Manage day-to-day life in Discord - moderation, updates, events, and user feedback loops
- Programming & engagement: Plan and host activities like challenges, workshops, and live sessions (aligned with Collective and education programs)
- Partnerships & collaborations: Identify and support collaborations with schools, creative artists, and studios; coordinate co-branded sessions
- Education & support: Maintain resource libraries, onboarding materials, and event follow-ups to help members get the most out of Figma Weave
- Creator relationships: Work closely with the community artists - support spotlight content, track participation, and celebrate community work
- Feedback pipeline: Capture insights from the community and share them with the product and marketing teams to inform roadmap and communications
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years of experience building and scaling engaged online communities—from early stages to thriving ecosystems—ideally in creative tech, design tools, or GenAI spaces
- Hands-on expertise with Discord (or similar platforms), including structuring channels, moderating discussions, and fostering authentic community culture
- Excellent communicator in English with the ability to write clearly, host conversations, and confidently represent our creative tone
- People-first and collaborative, who can build a close partnership with marketing, product, and creative teams
- Proactive and organized builder who thrives in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and taking ideas from concept to execution
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience hosting workshops or community events; background in design, education, or creator programs
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
