About the Position
The Princeton Review/Tutor.com is seeking a highly skilled, strategic Senior Manager of Content Marketing to lead the development and execution of content initiatives that support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion across multiple markets—including K–12, Higher Education, Government, Library, Military, and Test Prep.
The Senior Manager of Content Marketing is responsible for owning and advancing the company’s content strategy, strengthening Tutor.com’s brand authority, and creating high-quality content that is SEO- and GEO-optimized to increase visibility, improve search rankings, and drive qualified leads.
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Marketing and Corporate Communications, the Senior Manager of Content Marketing works closely with cross-functional leaders—including the Senior Manager of K–12 Marketing and the Senior Manager of Higher Ed, Test Prep, Military and Library Marketing—to ensure all content aligns with industry trends, customer needs, and organizational priorities. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller, an experienced strategist, and a detail-oriented project manager who excels in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content marketing strategy that advances engagement, retention, acquisition, and growth across all core markets.
- Build and maintain a unified content framework that aligns with company-wide marketing initiatives, strengthens Tutor.com’s brand authority, and improves overall search engine visibility.
- Oversee the full content lifecycle, from ideation and production to publication, distribution, and performance analysis, ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives.
SEO/GEO Optimization & Performance Analytics
- Create content optimized for SEO and GEO targeting to elevate organic search performance, improve rankings, and effectively reach high-priority audiences and regions.
- Track, evaluate, and interpret performance metrics in partnership with Marketing Operations to measure content effectiveness and refine plans based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with web, social, and operations teams to identify new content opportunities that enhance discoverability and drive qualified inbound traffic.
Content Development & Asset Creation
- Produce and oversee the creation of high-impact content—including email campaigns, case studies, articles, white papers, landing pages, thought leadership pieces, customer success stories, copywriting, and webinar materials—that resonates with diverse audiences such as K–12 leaders, higher education administrators, librarians, military personnel, government partners, test takers, and lifelong learners.
- Develop, refine, and uphold Tutor.com’s brand voice and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity across all communications.
- Serve as the lead editor for all created and curated content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, quality, and brand compliance.
- Collaborate with third-party content experts to expand the depth, reach, and authority of Tutor.com’s content portfolio.
Collaboration, Execution & Project Management
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager of K–12 Marketing and the Senior Manager of HED/GOV/TEST PREP/LIB Marketing to ensure content aligns with market-specific trends, customer pain points, and segment priorities.
- Work with internal teams, including social media/web, events, marketing operations, and creative services, to develop cohesive, multi-channel content that maintains a unified brand identity and supports integrated marketing efforts.
- Own the content marketing calendar, managing timelines, deliverables, and workflows across internal contributors and external partners.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with editorial, brand, and compliance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Institutional Marketing.
Who You Are
- You have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience in content marketing, communications, or digital marketing, with a strong portfolio of multi-channel content.
- You are a strategic thinker and strong executor, able to develop content strategy while also writing and producing high-quality assets.
- You demonstrate expertise in SEO/GEO best practices, keyword strategy, and content optimization, using data to drive visibility and performance.
- You excel at cross-functional collaboration, working seamlessly with marketing, creative, product, sales, and customer success teams.
- You are a gifted writer and storyteller, able to translate complex concepts into compelling, audience-centered content.
- You are deeply organized, deadline-driven, and adept at managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- You are experienced in interpreting performance metrics, using data to optimize content and improve outcomes.
- You demonstrate a collaborative, inclusive work style, contributing positively to team culture and shared goals.

The Princeton Review offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and skills. The yearly salary range for this position is $82,000 - $125,000.
