🏛️ Lightholder Consulting | Microsoft Solutions Partner | Government IT

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Training Specialist to deliver a structured train-the-trainer program for a California state agency Dynamics 365 and Power Pages implementation.

📋 ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a subcontractor (1099/C2C) engagement. The goal is building true internal capability — agency staff should be able to independently administer, configure, and extend the platform when the engagement ends. If you believe in client independence over vendor dependency, this is your role.

⚙️ WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and deliver train-the-trainer curriculum covering D365 administration, Power Pages portal management, and Power Automate workflows

• Develop reusable, editable training materials — written guides, recorded walkthroughs, quick reference cards

• Assess staff readiness at each milestone and adjust pacing accordingly

• Train agency staff to independently publish new grant application forms via Power Pages Studio

• Create role-specific onboarding guides for portal administrators and functional users

✅ REQUIRED

• 5+ years delivering Microsoft Power Platform training in enterprise or government environments

• Demonstrated train-the-trainer experience — internal capability building, not just end-user delivery

• Deep Power Pages knowledge: Portal Management App, Power Pages Studio, entity permissions, web roles

• Power Automate training experience — teaching non-technical staff to build approval and notification flows

• Strong remote facilitation skills

• At least one Microsoft cert: PL-200 or PL-900

• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

⭐ PREFERRED

• California state agency or government grant management experience

• Instructional design background (ADDIE or similar)

• Video training/eLearning production (Camtasia, Loom)

• Power BI training experience

💼 TERMS

• ~10 hrs/month ongoing; higher during initial training delivery sprints

• Payment: Net 5 from state payment receipt (back-to-back government contract terms)

• Through May 2027 with potential extension
