Role Snapshot

Associate Instructional Designer at ERMCO will develop training and learning materials to support employee development and operational excellence in the design and manufacturing of distribution transformers. This role impacts workforce capability and knowledge transfer across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver instructional content including training modules, documentation, and e-learning materials for technical and operational processes. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate complex engineering concepts into effective training solutions.
Skills & Tools: Strong instructional design expertise with proficiency in learning management systems and multimedia development tools; excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Writing, or related field with 2-4 years of instructional design or training development experience. Experience with engineering or technical manufacturing environments preferred.

Compensation: €24K–€32K/yr (estimated)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, optimization, and manufacturing support of our overhead, submersible, and pad‑mounted distribution transformers. This position requires strong technical acumen, hands‑on engineering experience, and the ability to translate customer and manufacturing needs into reliable, cost‑effective product solutions.
 
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of transformer design principles, proficiency in 2D/3D design tools, and a passion for driving innovation in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
 
This role will be onsite in Athens, GA. Relocation Assistance is available.
