Role Snapshot
Join Reading Partners as a full-time AmeriCorps Member in St Paul, MN to provide individualized literacy interventions and support young readers in achieving grade-level reading proficiency by fourth grade.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver literacy interventions and community engagement through 900+ hours of in-person service over a 6-month term (January-June 2026), working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with ongoing training and professional development.
Skills & Tools: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, proficiency with technology systems (Salesforce, Google Apps, Zoom), and capacity to both collaborate in teams and work independently.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status; at least 18 years old; volunteer experience with community-based or education programs is a plus.
Location: St Paul, Minnesota
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $28,000 – $35,000/year based on title, seniority, and location. (Note: Position provides $12,925 living stipend over 6-month term plus $3,697.50 Segal Education Award, public transportation reimbursement, and full benefits.)
