Role Snapshot
Senior Specialist in Communications role supporting WestEd's School Improvement team to develop content, manage workflows, and enhance relationships with state and local education agencies. The position is critical to delivering high-quality services and expanding organizational reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and review content for school improvement projects, manage complex project workflows and timelines, coordinate virtual meetings, support client engagement, and improve internal processes and efficiencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with K-12 education organizations including school districts, charter networks, and state education agencies.
Skills & Tools: Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management expertise, proficiency in Microsoft and Google tools, and ability to work effectively in diverse educational settings. Proactive, technology-focused approach with capability to design engaging professional learning activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred) with 4-6 years of experience in communications and project coordination. Familiarity with state and local education agencies and school improvement practices is preferred.

Compensation: $91Kβ$114K/yr
