Role Snapshot
Part-time contractor role leading professional development sessions for educators implementing CommonLit 360 curriculum across Midwest schools. The position supports literacy instruction at scale while helping educators and school leaders successfully adopt new curriculum tools.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate engaging on-site and virtual professional development sessions for school and district partners, prepare training logistics, and collaborate with internal teams to support educators' curriculum implementation and problem-solving needs.
Skills & Tools: Strong background in ELA instruction, adult learning strategies, and effective communication with educators and stakeholders; ability to lead engaging PD sessions, solve implementation problems collaboratively, and support curriculum decision-making processes.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an ELA teacher, instructional leader, or coach with demonstrated success in professional development facilitation; required familiarity with CommonLit resources and products, plus a valid driver's license for travel.
Location: Illinois, Wisconsin
Compensation: $35–$700/hr
