What we are looking for:
A contract Technical Sourcer to support the growth of the MasterClass technical organization on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week). This role will focus on sourcing and engaging top technical talent and partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build strong, diverse pipelines for priority roles.
Responsibilities:
- Source, identify, and engage high-quality candidates for technical roles (e.g., backend, infrastructure, platform, data, and cloud engineering)
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Greenhouse, referrals, and other sourcing methods
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and ideal candidate profiles
- Conduct initial outreach to assess candidate interest and baseline qualifications
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking, activity, and pipeline data in Greenhouse
- Contribute ideas to improve sourcing strategies, outreach messaging, and the overall candidate experience
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within a fast-growing startup or tech environment
- Proven experience sourcing for technical roles
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Greenhouse
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for connecting great people with meaningful work
