Summary

Associate Onsite Therapist role at Daybreak Health providing evidence-based mental health support to students in California schools. Focus on delivering personalized care, building student-family relationships, and contributing to clinical program development.

Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based therapy to students, collaborate with school staff and counselors, build trusted relationships with students and families, and offer psychoeducation to caregivers. Participate in case consultations and contribute to clinical program development.
Skills & Tools: Active clinical license in California (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, ASW, APC, AMFT), strong technological skills with EHR systems, excellent communication and organizational abilities. Preferred: fluency in additional languages, experience with CBT/DBT modalities, and familiarity with school settings.
Qualifications: Experience delivering care to school-aged children and ability to work peak hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 3 PM PT). Preferred: previous work in school setting or with youth, active NPI number and CAQH.

About the Role

As an On-site Mental Health Therapist, you will provide services to students in our partner school district. Some areas of responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based to students that work with Daybreak.
  • Collaborating closely with school counselors and other relevant providers.
  • Building trusted relationships with students and families.
  • Providing psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
  • Participating in case consultations and clinical team discussions.
  • Contributing to the on-going development of Daybreak Health’s clinical programs.

Requirements

  • Active clinical license in California (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, ASW, APC, AMFT)
  • Associate licensed therapists will also be considered
  • Experience with delivering care to school-aged children.
  • Strong technological skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work during peak hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 3 PM PT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
  • Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar modalities. 
  • Previous work in a school setting or with youth.
  • Active NPI number and CAQH.
