Summary
Join Acelero as a Bilingual Spanish Family Advocate to support early childhood education and empower families in Camden, enhancing children's development and school readiness through evidence-based family engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Engage families through in-home and group experiences, manage enrollment functions (ERSEA, applications, documentation), support health-related paperwork completion, and collaborate with community partners to enhance family resources and promote parent-child interactions that foster school readiness.
Skills & Tools: Bilingual Spanish proficiency, family advocacy experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, low-income communities.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience in a family services role; commitment to completing a Family Services Certificate within 18 months of hire is required.
Location: Hybrid in Camden, New Jersey, United States; local travel required up to 10% of the time.
Compensation: $19/hour
