Summary
Lead technical strategy for large-scale initiatives and mentor technical staff at an education technology company. Influence software development processes and represent the organization at industry events while enhancing the education technology landscape.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in service-oriented and event-driven architecture, JavaScript frameworks, and Ruby on Rails. Exceptional leadership, mentorship, collaboration, and communication skills with experience in cloud infrastructure development and preferred experience with NATS.IO, Jetstream, or Kafka.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 10+ years of professional software development experience. Minimum 1+ year in a Principal Software Engineer role.
