Role Snapshot
Security Architect role at College Board guiding secure architecture for cloud-native SaaS applications serving millions of students in education. Lead security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews to ensure secure-by-design product development.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in security architecture, application security, cloud security (preferably AWS), threat modeling, and architectural reviews with strong experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments. Strong judgment, communication skills, and ability to make risk-based decisions independently.
Qualifications: Meaningful experience in security architecture with solid understanding of cloud security, preferably AWS. Familiarity with K-12 or higher education ecosystems preferred.
Location: Virginia
Compensation: $156K–$172K/yr
