Skills: Proficiency in post-production and video editing software, strong communication, time management, and organization skills, and experience with multimedia creation and editing.
Qualifications: B.A., BFA or equivalent experience in multimedia design, with a preference for candidates with experience in animation and audio editing.
Location: Clearwater, Florida
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $55,000 - $75,000.
The Multimedia Designer performs essential duties to create animated 2- and 3-dimensional images to enhance the current interactive training modules into world-class, dynamic e-learning modules. They will also design the supporting materials that accompany the modules including but not limited to posters, security documents, and motion graphics. It is important that they provide fresh ideas with original solutions through engaging design and animation. The creative process at different stages may include conceptualization, storyboarding, layout, animation, graphic design, and editing.
Responsibilities:
- Create multimedia assets for e-learning modules
- Multimedia design includes: conceptualise; develop and produce visually engaging digital content across various platforms, combining graphics, animation, video, and interactive media to effectively communicate ideas and support engaging training.
- Create graphics and edit photos to use within animations
- Create engaging documents and motion graphics
- Create new/edit existing videos and animations
- Perform sound mixing and synchronization
- Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional teams
- Work within deadlines
- Prepare and package graphic assets for localization vendors
- Follow internal style guides; file hierarchies and production flow procedures
- Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
- Ensure conformance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA
Requirements:
- B.A., BFA or comparable work/life experience
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Strong proficiency with post production and video editing software (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Audition, etc.)
- Audio Editing software experience
- Experience creating and editing illustrated animations
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
