Role Snapshot
Provide personalized one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes in Novato, CA. Help students achieve academic goals and enhance their learning experience through tailored instruction aligned with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions, develop personalized lesson plans adapted to unique learning styles, track student progress, and collaborate with educators and parents. Foster a safe and inclusive environment while maintaining open communication with families about student progress.
Skills & Tools: Experience working with students with special needs, ability to communicate effectively with students and parents, and fluency in Spanish preferred. Strong ability to make learning interactive, student-focused, and engaging.
Qualifications: Must be enrolled in or have completed college education (AA, BA, or higher) and be able to commute to Novato, CA. Experience working with special needs students and accommodations is highly preferred.
Location: Novato, California
Compensation: $25–$35/hr
