Summary
Penn Foster seeks a Learning Designer to create innovative, skills-based learning experiences that enhance student outcomes and bridge education with job readiness. This strategic role blends pedagogical expertise with technical innovation to drive measurable improvements in learning quality.
Key Responsibilities: Lead design and delivery of high-quality, learner-centered content using Skills-based Education principles; drive end-to-end course development projects while advocating for learner perspectives and pedagogical integrity. Evaluate course effectiveness, leverage data analytics for continuous improvement, and integrate emerging technologies to personalize learning experiences.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with instructional technology tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms), strong knowledge of learning sciences and cognitive psychology, and data literacy for analyzing learner outcomes. Must demonstrate strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, creativity, and ability to balance vision with practical delivery.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Learning Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field required. 3β5 years of experience in learning design, instructional design, or curriculum development.
