Role Snapshot
The Part-Time Director of School Support partners with school leaders in Philadelphia to strengthen mathematics instruction and student outcomes through coaching, professional learning, and systems-building. This fixed-term, 20 hours/week role serves as a strategic thought partner for change management and schoolwide improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities: Coach school leaders on equitable instruction, support implementation of standards-aligned mathematics curricula, and facilitate professional learning for school and district teams. Partner with leaders to identify instructional inequities, analyze student data, and design schoolwide support plans while maintaining strong relationships with schools.
Skills & Tools: Strong coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills with expertise in K-12 mathematics instruction and change management. Experience with data analysis, professional learning facilitation, and culturally responsive instructional practices.
Qualifications: Deep knowledge of K-8 or 9-12 mathematics instruction with preferred experience using Illustrative Mathematics curricula. Background in educational leadership, instructional coaching, or school improvement work required.

Compensation: $68–$73/hr
