Summary

Remote mental health clinician providing evidence-based teletherapy to California youth ages 11-24 with a mission to make quality mental healthcare accessible in school settings. This role offers meaningful impact through consistent caseloads and flexible remote work.

Skills & Tools: Strong communication and clinical skills with proficiency in telehealth platforms. Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive, equitable care and passion for youth mental health.
Qualifications: Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) in California with clinical or school-based experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24. Comfortable providing telehealth services and experienced in supporting diverse populations.
Location: Remote from California, United States (fully remote, flexible hours Monday-Friday 3-8 PM PST with optional weekend availability)
Compensation: $55,000 – $115,000 / annually

Job Description

W-2 Part-Time Position

  • Competitive Salary: $55,000–$115,000 annually with reliable bi-weekly pay

  • Manageable Caseload: At least 25 weekly time slots, with a minimum of 17 completed sessions per week (averaged monthly) to retain base salary and benefits

1099 Independent Contractor Position

  • Compensation: $70–$85 per session, plus guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations. Bilingual clinicians earn an additional $5 per session
  • Flexible & Manageable Caseload: Minimum of just 5 sessions per week—perfect for work-life balance

Role & Responsibilities

  • Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to create a safe therapeutic environment
  • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
  • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California
  • Passion for youth mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care that honors diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings
  • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services
