Role Snapshot
Manager, Information Security at RethinkFirst will lead the Security Assurance function for a healthcare SaaS company, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, and HITRUST standards in a cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end Security Assurance operations including audit management, Vanta platform implementation and optimization, compliance evidence collection, policy development, and third-party risk management. Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain year-round audit readiness and respond to customer security questionnaires and RFP requests.
Skills & Tools: 7+ years in Information Security with hands-on governance and compliance experience, expertise with Vanta compliance automation platform, and knowledge of Microsoft Azure and M365 security architecture. Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced SaaS environments.
Qualifications: 7+ years in Information Security with demonstrated hands-on experience in governance and compliance. Preferred certifications include CISA or CISSP, with background in healthcare SaaS environments.
Location: Illinois
Compensation: $100K–$150K/yr
