Role Snapshot
A 12-month paid Machine Learning residency at Vestas focused on developing AI solutions using reinforcement learning and generative models to address field service inefficiencies. Successful candidates have potential for permanent employment and will be mentored by world-class AI scientists.
Key Responsibilities: Apply advanced reinforcement learning techniques to real-world problems, optimize ML pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional project teams, and participate in knowledge transfer activities with client stakeholders. Work on RAG-based generation systems using knowledge graphs to improve technician support documentation.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in reinforcement learning, generative models, machine learning frameworks, and Python programming with hands-on experience in knowledge graphs, applied statistics, and problem-solving.
Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field with specialization in reinforcement learning and demonstrated experience with ML models. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$70K–CA$90K/yr
