Job Description
The eLearning Specialist is responsible for the coordination, planning, and overall facilitation of the LMS Platform.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign online training courses to groups and individuals
- Manage individual learning paths
- Enroll and Delete users within the LMS platform
- Work with all departments to create and administer courses tailored to departmental needs
- Create and distribute PDF/Interactive Training Content
- Assist Training Manager with capturing and documenting knowledge from Legacy companies
- Assist with Data Base and content management for Technician Support Portal and Training Matrix
- Additional projects and assignments as directed by Training Manager or Director
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience utilizing any eLearning platform
- Excellent attention to detail, being thorough in completing tasks, ability to detect problems and report information accordingly
- Good written communication as appropriate for the needs of the audience, including reading comprehension to read and interpret documents
- Computer proficiency with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable to fulfil obligations
- Must be willing and able to practice adaptability, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach freely
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Finger dexterity for use of applicable tools
