Position Summary:
As an Associate User Experience Researcher, you will support the continuous improvement of learner experiences by maintaining research instruments, analyzing user data, conducting usability testing, and translating insights into clear, actionable findings for product and design teams.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and maintain recurring learner experience surveys, monitoring response rates and data quality.
- Analyze and segment research data to support stakeholder questions and product decisions.
- Maintain the student panel: lead and moderate engagements with students
- Create clear, concise reports that communicate key insights and trends.
- Plan and conduct usability testing with learners and partners to evaluate course experiences and features.
- Collaborate with product, design, and learning teams to translate research findings into actionable improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- User Research Methods: Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, usability testing, interviews, and data analysis, to understand user needs and experiences.
- Insight Generation and Communication: Skill in analyzing research data, identifying patterns, and clearly communicating findings through reports and presentations that inform product and design decisions.
- Design Thinking and UX Operations: Familiarity with design thinking principles and UX operational practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt research approaches to evolving projects and organizational needs.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to interpret research data, identify patterns, and offer solutions to user experience challenges, helping to inform design decisions.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Openness to learning new research techniques and tools, as well as the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and fast-paced environments.
