Job Description:
The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is the premiere membership organization for those dedicated to the learning and talent development industry. Our mission is to create a world that works better by empowering L&D professionals to develop talent in the workplace. We provide our enterprise clients with a wealth of resources such as strategic advisory services, professional development and enterprise membership. In addition, ATD publishes books, magazines, webinars, research, all modalities of educational programming, and offers the gold standard in talent development certifications.
This Role…
As an Account Executive at ATD, you will report to our Associate VP of Enterprise Solutions supporting existing ATD enterprise clients and creating new client partnerships. This role will focus on establishing consultative partnerships with corporate clients in support of their talent development strategy.
Specifically, the key initiatives you will support in this role include:
- Applying sourcing and sales strategies to identify and engage current and prospective clients, inspiring them to utilize ATD solutions
- Building intentional relationships with clients through a detailed understanding of their talent development strategy and needs
- Implementing a sales strategy and value proposition that resonates with decision makers including the C-Suite
- Build territory by implementing an effective outbound sales activity plan
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional presence in virtual meetings.
- Seeking and leveraging opportunities to gain new skills, knowledge, and experiences; quickly assimilating and applying new information and skills to enhance sales results.
About You…
- 4 + years of Account Executive/Sales experience
- Experience in roles with consulting, performance improvement, or other talent development areas of emphasis are encouraged to apply
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help team members and provide excellent customer service to clients
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
