Role Snapshot

Senior Instructional Designer at UMB Bank responsible for creating engaging, scalable training content that supports the organization's commitment to The Unparalleled Customer Experience (TUCE). This role bridges learning strategy with hands-on content development across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with learning consultants and subject matter experts to design and develop e-learning content, videos, and training initiatives; support LMS implementation and learning program evaluation; mentor junior instructional designers on best practices and authoring tools.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud) and 2D animation software (Vyond); strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint expertise; demonstrated ability to apply cognitive science and adult learning principles; coaching and mentoring capabilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of collaborative instructional design experience across business lines (or equivalent education/experience combination); knowledge of instructional design best practices and learning evaluation methodologies; continuous learner with growth mindset.
Location: Ny State Campus
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $75,000 – $95,000/year based on title, seniority, company size, and location.
