Role Snapshot

Royalties Assistant/Coordinator supporting Macmillan Learning's Royalties and Finance Operations teams in managing royalty processes and operational functions. This role ensures smooth statement production, efficient file management, and organized systems that enable the broader team to work efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinating royalty statement printing and mailing, managing returned checks and tax forms, organizing and standardizing digital royalty files, maintaining office supplies and inventory, creating documentation dashboards, and assisting with data cleanup and manual statement editing.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace with strong detail-oriented and process-oriented mindset. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, multitasking ability, comfort with technology systems, and familiarity with royalty platforms preferred.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant office experience with familiarity in book publishing industry and/or royalty processes preferred. Must be able to work in-office at least twice weekly and possess high standards of integrity, ethics, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Location: United States
Compensation: $25–$30/hr
