This Ambassador Manager role at Stride K12 oversees a team of engagement ambassadors (5-10 staff) while supporting student success through leadership of operations, team development, and student-centered initiatives in a remote, education-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee ambassador team operations and logistics efficiency, develop and deliver employee training programs, serve as liaison between students/families/teachers/administration, monitor student caseload progress, arrange support conferences, and provide outreach/training to families based on assessment data.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, operational/logistical expertise, training and professional development skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, data analysis and performance tracking proficiency, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of related professional experience in school leadership, operations management, or student services; demonstrated ability to develop/implement plans, policies, and strategies aligned with business objectives.
Location: In-Person - 2 Locations
Compensation: $65K–$95K/yr (estimated)

Job Description School Leadership focuses on leading and managing areas of business operations within the school including: leading development and implementation of plans, policies, and strategies in support of business objectives; creating and tracking key performance metrics; collaborating with internal stakeholders to support initiatives that drive operational and financial performance and growth. Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years related professional experience. Residency Requirements: Virtual, Missouri Residency Preferred but open to surrounding states This remote Engagement Ambassador position is responsible for supporting student engagement through regular student conferences/meetings, parent contact, and coaching to address both academic and social-emotional needs. This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8-5 or as defined by the school. Oversee ambassador team Oversee and ensures optimal efficiency Oversee and ensures optimal efficiency of all logistics Responsible for developing and implementing various trainings that improve employee knowledge and skill, including cross-training on all duties needed to ensure efficient operations; Serve as a liaison between students, Learning Coaches and teachers and/or administration; Monitor progress teams caseload; Arrange support conferences as needed to address performance concerns; Provide outreach, training, and support to families who respond to Students First Check In surveys; Increase professional knowledge and skills by attending required staff meetings; participating in school and K12 sponsored Professional Development, and seeking other professional learning opportunities. Participate in State testing as required Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 5-10 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Some college and or 5 years leadership experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Organizations skills, multi-tasking abilities Customer service focus Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment Experience coordinating academically oriented clubs and extra-curricular activities Familiarity with the online learning experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Web proficiency Ability to travel 20% of the time Ability to clear required background check Equivalent combination of education and experience DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Experience supporting adults and children in learning and the use of technology An ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g. database and web-based tools) WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
