Role Snapshot
Join Sourcebooks' Stonefruit Studio as a Summer Intern working across Editorial, Design, and Marketing/Publicity for children's books. You'll contribute meaningfully to real projects, collaborate with publishing professionals, and help connect stories with readers.
Key Responsibilities: Support editorial tasks including reading submissions, writing reader's reports, and catalog copy; assist with design materials, layouts, and presentation slides; and contribute to publicity campaigns, social media content, and marketing strategy brainstorms.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and passion for book publishing; ability to work collaboratively and think innovatively about storytelling and reader engagement.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with a love for storytelling and innovation in publishing; cover letter required explaining your interest in Sourcebooks and publishing.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $20/hr
