Role Snapshot
Part-time contractor role leading professional development for educators implementing CommonLit 360 curriculum across West Coast schools. Ideal for experienced teacher leaders and instructional coaches passionate about adult learning and literacy outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate on-site and virtual professional development sessions for schools adopting CommonLit 360, including preparation, delivery, and follow-up activities. Travel within West Coast region up to once per week during peak season (June-September) with availability of up to 20 hours per week.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years in ELA education or coaching with strong professional development facilitation abilities, expertise in ELA best practices, and familiarity with CommonLit products. Must be comfortable leading adult learning, solving implementation problems collaboratively, and receptive to feedback.
Qualifications: Successful background as teacher, coach, or school leader with experience in curriculum decision-making and implementation. Required to be highly familiar with CommonLit products, have valid driver's license, and preferably live near a major airport.
Location: California, Oregon
Compensation: $35–$700/hr
